About this website:
Stoney Creek Trail is an 0ff-leash park in the City of Abbotsford, British Columbia. This website features photos of fauna and flora taken exclusively along the trail. Many of the dogs that frequent the Trail are shown here as well (more will be added when their owners contact me).
Stoney Creek Trail is just over one kilometre long. The section of the trail between Bateman Road and Cobblestone Drive is part of the Abbotsford Discovery Trail, which in turn is part of the Trans Canada Trail. Walking its full length, from the Bateman Road parking lot at the north end to the Latimer Street entrance at the south end, you will climb about 50 m (150 ft. or 15 storeys). I highly recommend it!

In 2019, I became a City volunteer to look after the Trail, which mainly involves picking up litter and reporting any maintenance needs. To extend my interest and enjoyment of the Trail, I created this website. As well, I publish monthly Trail Reports that serve as a history of the Park. You can access them via the menu at the bottom of this page. If you'd like to receive them by e-mail, contact me and I'll add you to the subscription list. The Reports are sent out via Bcc so that e-mail addresses are not shared.

You are invited to visit the website of the Abbotsford Ravine Park Hatchery which incubates and raises coho salmon fry for release into Stoney and Clayburn Creeks every year.
Notes:
(1) Beginning with the January 2023 Report, the trail bridges are re-numbered from 1 to 6 instead of 0 to 5, in order to conform with the City's numbering system.
(2) These pages are frequently updated, so be sure to refresh (re-load) them.
(3) This website is best viewed on a tablet device.
